Acceptance of Terms

By approving a quotation, signing an agreement, issuing a work confirmation, making an advance payment or allowing ASM Interiors by Asfar Majeed Technical Services LLC to start work, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy published on the company website.

These Terms & Conditions apply together with the approved quotation, scope of work, payment schedule, drawings, specifications and any written variations agreed between the company and the client.

Enquiry and Quotation Process

Enquiries submitted through our website, phone, WhatsApp, or email are not binding contracts. All quotations are subject to site inspection, measurements, material availability, authority approvals, and final agreement of scope.

Prices may change based on scope changes, site conditions, material selection, or authority requirements after the initial quotation has been issued.

Scope of Works and BOQ

Execution of renovation or joinery works begins only after a signed scope of works, BOQ, or formal agreement has been accepted by both parties. Verbal agreements are not binding.

Only items listed in the approved quotation or scope of works are included in the contract. Any item, trade, material, finish, fitting, or area not specifically mentioned in the quotation is excluded from the scope and price.

Changes to the agreed scope during execution must be documented in writing and may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.

Variations and Additional Works

Any change in scope, quantity, material, finish, design, drawing, site condition or client request during project execution is treated as a variation. All variations must be approved in writing before execution begins. Additional costs and timeline adjustments may apply.

ASM Interiors will provide a written variation quote for client approval before any additional work begins. Works that proceed without written variation approval may be charged at standard rates.

Site Visits and Inspections

A site visit may be required before finalising the BOQ and project scope. ASM Interiors will coordinate site visits at a mutually agreed time. The client is responsible for ensuring site access is available and that all relevant authorities or building management approvals are in place before works commence.

Client-Supplied Materials

Where clients supply materials directly, including tiles, sanitaryware, appliances, stone, fittings and other items, ASM Interiors is not responsible for the quality, delivery delays, or defects in those materials. Client-supplied materials are installed at the client's risk unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients are responsible for maintaining their own final approved drawings, colour codes, material specifications, and reference documents.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in the formal quotation or agreement. Generally, a deposit is required before works commence, with staged payments linked to project milestones and a final payment upon completion.

Work progress, procurement and material delivery are subject to agreed payment schedules. Delayed payments may delay work execution, material procurement, delivery and project handover. ASM Interiors reserves the right to pause works where payments are outstanding beyond agreed terms.

Final handover, warranties, completion documents or certificates may be withheld until full payment is received. Materials ordered specifically for a project may not be returnable, refundable or exchangeable once procured.

Project Timelines and Delays

Project timelines are estimates based on agreed scope, material availability, site access, and building management conditions. ASM Interiors is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including:

• Building management restrictions or permit delays
• Client-supplied material delays or shortages
• Unforeseen site conditions discovered during works
• Client-requested changes to scope or materials
• Force majeure events

Material Availability and Batch Variation

Material availability is subject to market supply. Where specified materials are unavailable, ASM Interiors will propose suitable alternatives for client approval. Natural materials, including stone, marble, timber and fabric, may exhibit batch variation in colour, texture, and pattern, which is a characteristic of the material and not a defect.

Warranty and Limitations

ASM Interiors by Asfar Majeed Technical Services LLC provides workmanship warranty only for works directly executed by our team, subject to the approved quotation, agreed scope and normal use of the completed works. Warranty terms are as specified in the project agreement.

The warranty does not cover:

• Client-supplied materials, manufacturer defects, appliances, sanitaryware, tiles, stone, hardware or accessories
• Misuse, accidental damage, impact damage or poor maintenance
• Unauthorised modifications or third-party works after handover
• Existing hidden defects, building movement or structural issues
• Moisture issues, AC condensation, leakage from existing concealed plumbing or drainage
• Waterproofing failure by others or damage caused after handover by other contractors or occupants
• Normal wear and tear

Natural materials and finishes, including marble, stone, veneer, wood, porcelain, quartz, paint and decorative finishes, may have shade, grain, texture, pattern and batch variation. Such natural or manufacturing variation is not considered a defect.

Any repair, modification or work carried out by another party after ASM Interiors' handover may void the relevant workmanship warranty on affected areas.

Any warranty claim must be submitted in writing with clear photos and project details. The client must provide reasonable access for inspection and ASM Interiors must be given the opportunity to review and rectify any valid workmanship issue before another contractor is appointed.

Project Photography, Video and Portfolio Rights

By approving a quotation, signing an agreement, making an advance payment or allowing the works to proceed, the client agrees that ASM Interiors by Asfar Majeed Technical Services LLC may photograph and record project works before, during and after completion.

The company may use such project images and videos for its completed projects gallery, website, social media, marketing material, proposals and future showcase purposes. Personal information, private documents and sensitive personal details will not be intentionally displayed.

Any restriction on photography, video recording or portfolio use must be agreed in writing before project commencement.

Intellectual Property

All drawings, designs, BOQs, 3D visuals, technical documents, and website content produced by ASM Interiors remain the intellectual property of ASM Interiors unless otherwise agreed in writing. These materials may not be reproduced, shared, or used by third parties without written consent.

Limitation of Liability

ASM Interiors' liability is limited to the value of the contracted works as specified in the signed agreement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from project execution, delays, or material variation beyond our reasonable control.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from services, contracts, or use of this website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
