Kitchen renovation cost in Dubai depends on kitchen size, cabinetry specification, countertop and backsplash choice, and whether plumbing, electrical or ceiling changes are required. This guide sets out indicative pricing tiers, what each tier includes and excludes, and the factors that affect your final BOQ. For full scope details and process, see our Kitchen Renovation Dubai service page.

Kitchen Renovation Cost Ranges in Dubai (Indicative)

Indicative prices exclude 5% VAT unless specifically stated otherwise. Package ranges generally include kitchen cabinetry, standard hardware, fabrication, delivery and installation, with countertop, demolition, MEP modifications, ceiling, lighting and accessories included only where specifically stated in the approved scope and BOQ.

Final pricing depends on your kitchen size, layout changes required, cabinet materials, countertop selection, appliances, MEP scope and existing site conditions. A detailed, itemised BOQ is prepared after a site visit and full measurements. We do not provide final quotations without inspecting the space first.

What Each Tier Includes and Excludes

All tiers include custom-manufactured kitchen cabinetry, standard hardware, fabrication, delivery and installation by our in-house joinery workshop. Countertop and backsplash supply, demolition and disposal, plumbing and electrical modifications, false ceiling and lighting, and storage accessories are included only where specifically listed in your approved scope and BOQ — they are not automatically bundled into every tier. Appliances are excluded unless specifically listed in the approved quotation.

Cabinetry, Carcass and Shutter Finishes

Carcass construction is typically moisture-resistant MDF, with HDHMR available as a higher-density upgrade. Shutter finish options include PU paint (matte or gloss), high-pressure laminate, anti-fingerprint laminate, and wood veneer, with soft-close hardware from brands such as Hettich and Blum. For a full comparison of carcass materials, door finishes, countertop options and hardware specification, see our dedicated Kitchen Cabinet Materials Dubai guide.

Countertop and Backsplash

Common countertop materials in Dubai kitchens include engineered quartz, porcelain slabs, granite and natural marble, each with different durability, maintenance and cost characteristics. Countertop and backsplash supply and installation are included only where stated in your approved BOQ; confirm this scope with your contractor before signing off, since it directly affects your final price.

Demolition and Disposal

Where included, this covers strip-out of existing cabinets, countertop and backsplash, site protection, and removal of waste materials from site prior to new installation.

Plumbing and Electrical Modifications

Relocating a sink, cooker point, or adding new socket and appliance points requires licensed plumbing and electrical work. These modifications are scoped and priced individually based on the extent of change required and are only included where stated in your BOQ.

Ceiling, Lighting and Accessories

Gypsum false ceilings, recessed downlights, under-cabinet LED strips and pull-out organisers can all be incorporated into a kitchen renovation. As with other components, these are included only where specifically stated in your approved scope and BOQ.

Appliances

Appliances are excluded from the tier pricing above unless specifically listed in your approved quotation. If you would like us to source and install integrated ovens, hobs, hoods, dishwashers or refrigerators, let us know during consultation so this can be scoped and priced accordingly.

Timeline by Scope

  • Small kitchen renovation: approximately 2–3 weeks
  • Medium kitchen renovation: approximately 3–5 weeks
  • Premium / open-plan kitchen: approximately 5–7 weeks
  • Luxury / bespoke kitchen: approximately 6–10 weeks, depending on custom joinery and imported materials

BOQ and Variation Control

A detailed, itemised BOQ is prepared after a free site visit and measurement, listing carcass material, shutter finish, countertop, hardware, and any plumbing, electrical, ceiling or appliance scope included. Work only begins once the BOQ is signed off, and any change to the agreed scope is priced and approved as a variation before proceeding.

VAT Treatment

Indicative prices exclude 5% VAT unless specifically stated otherwise. Your formal quotation will confirm VAT treatment in writing.
